We're celebrating tomorrow night (Wed night). I just popped by the location
-- it's very close to our classroom. Just head out of the classroom and
face market, then look right on market and march to the ferry building (as
far as you can go on Market) before falling into the water.

The place is "Hog Island Oyster Company" (Section 11-1 on the map -- toward
the back left as you walk from Market). It's very informal and fun. If you
want drinks, order drinks. If you want food, order food. It's a great view
looking at the bay -- in fact, I'm right there now and it's a great day
with a beautiful view.

The only real "hitch" is they don't seat parties of this size until the
whole party arrives. I'm not sure how we're going to heard these cats since
I don't have an exact headcount and we're showing up at different times.
I'm going to be here at 6pm but won't seat myself. Once a few of us show up
and we feel we have a group, we'll ask to be seated. Then others can join
and we can move if we need to.

The place doesn't take reservations -- it's a shame. I was going to reserve
under the name of "Mr. Root User" (no sexism there, I just don't think I
can pull of Ms. Root User in person).

Will, can you get this out to your network of people (many are not on this
list). Marcelo is invited too, of course. It'll be fun.. We are so done (or
almost :)

What: A celebration for our earned (or almost earned) certificates
Where: Ferry Building (right up Market Street from our class); Hog Island
Oyster Company:
http://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/hog_island_oyster_company.php
When: Tomorrow (Wed; 12-Sep from 6:30 - 8)

Cheers,

Glen
