Hi, Noisebridge! We added a new class at 7pm Pacific on March 31, 2015 covering: Fractals with JavaScript and Canvas We'll play with the HTML5 Canvas element and some simple javascript to draw cool fractals.

Fractals are a fun way to learn about some programming fundamentals while making pretty pictures. We'll use JavaScript (and maybe Ruby) to draw fractals on a web page. This is a beginner friendly class. While it's not about Rails exactly, learning about JavaScript and html elements like Canvas is important for building web applications using any framework.

Prereqs: Read about fractals. Please know some basic JavaScript. CodeAcademy is a good resource.
The Codewars kata for this class is a basic problem, but do it in JavaScript!
The class will take place at Noisebridge in the Church room.
