[Neuro] Neuro Digest, Vol 32, Issue 4

For what it's worth, I think it's good to have a range of options available
to people who want to experiment with these things. I am comfortable with
basic electronics and made my own and am showing others how to do it,
Justin is publishing open designs for somewhat nicer kits and offering to
sell them as kits or assembled, and no doubt truly high-markup mass
produced models are or will be available from someone. It is all comparable
to what goes on in another area of DIY involving mostly basic electronics,
analog audio amps, and like there, people can more nearly get what they
want or need by choosing what works for them, from designing and building
their own up to buying a mass-produced high overhead high markup model, and
many options in between. There is no one-size-fits-all tradeoff among
money, time, and attention, here or anywhere.
