[Noisebridge-board] Differentiating affiliate and member donations on Paypal

So, with this latest wave of donations, we have a lot of non-members
subscribing to regular donations using the membership dues
subscription. Whenever this happens, I email the donor asking them if
they are an official member or if the payment is a donation. The first
time it happened, I directed the guy to use the affiliate subscription
link instead. However, switching to a new subscription is kind of a
hassle for the user, and for me. Should I just leave these people as
subscribed members according to paypal? The xero books and membership
spreadsheet both reflect the correct info. Can anyone think of issues
it might cause to let them remain on the membership subscription?
