I was expecting us to receive the tax penalty. Our tax professional
was contracted to handle it at the time that we filed our taxes. I
will forward this on to them. They told us it should be reasonable
easy to appeal.

I will check on Recology. It is supposed to be auto-paid, but their
system is a huge hassle, so we had a lot of problems setting up the
auto-pay. PG&E is auto paid, but I've been manually paying it as well
lately because auto-pay had a top cap of $600 which we've been
surpassing every month.
