[Build] Elevator woes

   likely the problem is mechanical, like a contact 
has been worn or jiggled out of place, or a wire 
came loose. elevator electrical is pretty standard, 
but the liability laws are not. 
   seem possible that someone with reasonable 
electrical and/or electronic experience could 
troubleshoot and maybe even fix it. wouldn't want 
anyone to know we dicked with it, though.
