[Build] painting! (general)

i very, very, very much hope we're painting the
ceilings. if we're using a sprayer, it would be
crazy not to. what to do about the glass in the
skylights? i say wash, brush away loose paint,
and paint.

per the paint page, seems generally no need to
sand the edges of scraped paint spots--that's done
to make things look pretty, in the main. as long
as the surface is degreased and loose paint is
removed, the new paint will adhere, and that's
what counts.

as to "square" "old" "plastic" conduit, (most of
which is "wiremold" brand stuff: remove it. i was
stupid to think we should keep it, it would be more
work to thread wires in that stuff than to put up
new pipe runs.

prepping for painting is a good idea, including
washing. i hope we can stall spraying until after
the electrical team has got the two new sub-panels
and requisite pipe installed.

i, jim, did a lot of painting in my past, to
include a lot of spray painting; that was one of my
favorite jobs and i hope i can do that in this new
space, including its ceilings.
