[Build] painting! (general)

   if we're using a spray gun, then painting the 
ceiling is not quite, but significantly close to, 
free--costs washing and light prep along with 
paint, very easy to do with an airless (horrible 
to do with rollers). 
   if you don't paint the ceiling, it will look 
bad after the rest of the place is done. 
   painting the glass in the skylights strikes 
me as a good thing: keeps the outside heat out 
and the inside heat in (works for both climes), 
and lets us control interior lighting (if you 
paint the ceiling, definitely paint the skylight 
interiors including glass). 
   if you paint the ceiling, you hide the shiny 
pipes that otherwise scream: new work here! 
   if you paint the ceiling, you can paint it 
white and get improvements in reflection of 
light: better lighting at lower cost. 
   if you decide to paint the ceilings, do it 
now, while people are out and masking and crews 
and equipment is in.
