tho'ts:
* put the share-able painting tools in a single place,
like in a pile along some part of a wall.
* don't spend a lot of time sanding or smoothing bumps:
the main thing is that the paint adheres and doesn't
fall off--scrape loose stuff.
* fill any hole or crack you can find, no matter how
small--it's amazing how small a hole a mouse or rat
can get through.
* caulk or otherwise fill all cracks, especially between
walls and floors or walls and casings....
* degrease all surfaces. a good thing to use for this
is Jasco no-rinse TSP: get a bucket and roller and
roll the stuff on, maybe wipe off excess a little later.
* do the ceilings. do the ceilings. do the ceilings.
