[Build] HVAC FAQ

My impression is that the prevailing winds coming from the West
are fairly constant and would do a decent job of keeping the space
ventilated via the windows. Is the air coming through at that
altitude really so dirty? Would it be possible to wait a while and
experientially get a better idea of what our needs will be?
The ventilation unit described at the meeting sounded rather large
(5'x4'x3' @ 15 Hp ?), not sure what the size of the smaller on is...
I guess my main concern is having system in place that's fairly loud
and consequently ends up being turned on only infrequently (aren't
these things typically located outside people-habiting zones?).
