[Build] painting status

I've been using the universal solvent myself with a scotch brite pad.  The
plastic pad doesn't mess with the floor finish too much and the water-based
paint hasn't totally solidified.  I found it's pretty effective, but won't
be for long as the paint hardens and becomes more permanent.
