2013 IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society: the social 
implications of wearable computing and augmented reality in everyday 
life.  June 27-29, 2013.  With all kinds of high profile speakers (Ray 
Kurzweil, Marvin Minsky, Steve Mann, Gordon Bell, etc).  Looks to be a 
pretty significant event!  Sadly tickets are not on sale yet, but of 
course they are likely to be expensive...
