You save around $60. The K-x is the previous generation entry level DSLR
from them, does video. As much as I'm not a big fan of Pentax's user
interface, the fact that they've been using the same lens mount for all
their SLRs for the past however many years is pretty awesome.

If you know someone wanting to get into digital photography on the
cheap, this is a fairly good deal.
