Hey digital archivists,

Our v1.0 DIY Book Scanner has been up and running for several months,
and we've learned a lot. It's time to think about next steps!

I've been talking with Kenny Whitebloom at the Digital Public Library of
America, which is cataloguing and digitizing millions of resources
(books, maps, documents, etc.) from libraries across the country. He's
going to put us in touch with some of the archivists in their network so
that we can better understand the challenges involved in massive
digitization efforts and what libraries need most from technologists.
