  Well, I started reading Der Zauberlerhling on my own last
  week.

  A friend of mine -- a Russian who spent most of her childhood
  in Germany -- has encouraged me to try more modern stuff. The
  stuff she has in mind is Max Frisch and Herman Hesse, though.

  This might be hard to do.

  Where you willing to consider meeting on Sundays or Saturdays
  to help me with my reading, that would be great. Of course, I
  would be happy to help with your English.
