[Hackability] Scooter obtained! but it is broken

Hey Nana!  Justin aka linkreincarnate brought us a scooter and it is at
Noisebridge by the bike racks. It's big and silver.  It isn't working,
someone who had it left it outside and then took out the ignition and
replaced it because they lost the key.

I suspect that if its front panel was disassembled, check all the wire
contacts, check it all out with a multimeter, and put new batteries in
it, it will probably work.

I am going to be out of town till October 30th, but if you want to work
on the scooter, it is there and at your disposal! It is for you!

I am cc-ing the hackability list, which is a mailing list for people
working on fixing or modifying mobility / access equipment, and if
anyone on that list wants to take a look at the scooter, or exchange
emails or meet up with Nana to work on it before the 30th, I am
introducing you.

Otherwise I'll be back the 30th or so and will happily take this thing
apart and clean it up to see if we can get it working. I may have extra
batteries that would fit in it, or might be able to scrounge some.
