Hi, Noisebridge! We added a new class at 7pm Pacific on February 24, 2015
Modeling data with ActiveRecord
This class is focused on using ActiveRecord's features to model data in a relational database.
We'll start by creating a simple two-table relational database using migrations, then dig into some of the features ActiveRecord gives us to manipulate that data in an application.
This is a beginner-friendly class, but should also be great for students of all levels.
Before class, please make sure you have Ruby and Rails installed We have a guide [here](https://www.railsschool.org/faq#How_should_I_prepare_for_my_first_Ruby_lesson)
Also, learn a little about how relational databases work if you are not already familiar. The [Wikipedia article](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relational_database) is a great start.
