[Noisebridge-discuss] Let's build a hacker space

Hi All,

It seems to me that the content of this list and even the IRC channel 
should really be clearly defined. When I signed on, I signed on to a 
list that was (I thought) to focus on building and developing a hacker 
space.

I'm really turned off by the personal attacks on this list. People have 
their differences but this is no place for personal squabbles, 
regardless of merit.

This is not a place for anarchy, either. In fact, if you ask me, 
anarchist models have very little merit when it comes to building a 
lasting organization. European hacker spaces may have anarchic aspects 
but they have very clear models and structure -- even if that structure 
is not written down. There may not be codified leaders but everyone 
knows who has the power.

If this group is to succeed going forward I suggest leaving the "noise" 
behind and focusing on the prize.
