Hiho!

First of all: I am german, sorry for my bad english ;-)

There are some german hackers planning to drive from vancouver via
Seattle, then on to San Francisco, Los Angeles and further on to Las
Vegas - defcon.

Our idea is to meet some american hackers on that trip and ideally have
some people to join us on that roadtrip.

So i heard that there is a meeting on August 5th. We would like to join
that meeting on that evening if possible.

I began to idle around in your irc channel #noisebridge so if anyone
wants to talk, organize or whatever - mc-fly ;-)

The people coming around are 3 people from ccc hamburg. As i have found
out on the wiki there is some consideration of becoming a chaostreff.
If there is some information needed about this i could help out for that.

Furthermore i am working with the translate project within the ccc. We
try to translate ccc content from german into english to make it
availible to the worldwide hacker scene. This process is done by
translating the german text into broken english and then from br0ken
english into proper english. The translation from german into br0ken
english is usually done by germans. After that native english speakers
translate this br0ken english together with the first translator into
fine proper correct english.
Translating press releases works fine with our small group so far, but
at the moment we are trying to translate the datenschleuder, the ccc
magazine into english, and this is a lot of work. We look for volunteers
to help there. (wp link to datenschleuder and a link to the translate
page below.)

Greetings to SF and hope to see you...
