Greets!
It looks like you guys are doing a lot of cool stuff in SF, it's been great
to hang out. I wanted to suggest an idea which, if it can be done anywhere,
can be done in San Francisco.
Some of you are aware that Blinkenlights
Stereoscope<http://blinkenlights.net/stereoscope/>went on this past
week in Toronto. Basically, some hardware hackers took
City Hall and turned it into a giant dual screen video display, and it looks
awesome.
Chatting in IRC, this reminded me of a project I helped out with years ago
when I was in dorms at UMR: we took an audio feed from the program of your
choice (winamp/xmms/vlc/etc) and piped the output into Christmas lights. The
end result looked pretty freaking awesome, and there are a few videos of it

How possible would it be to set something like this up for Christmas in San
Francisco?
