[Noisebridge-discuss] Art fundraiser suggestion

Agreed, art gallery in the space = bad idea.

However! What about renting a gallery for an evening? I'm sure there
are people on this list that know more about this than me. What do
those spaces cost? Would something like a $5 suggested donation at the
door cover it? Whether or not things are actually sold at the event,
it would be neat to have a public interface for our group that doesn't
involve strangers wandering through our space. I'm thinking
music/leds/processing visualizations/video tweaking/brain machines,
like a hands-on museum for people who want to look at shiny things but
don't necessarily geek out in their spare time.

That just kinda came to mind when I saw the words "art gallery"...
Maybe things like this already exist around here and I'm missing out.
In which case, someone let me know.
