The drill-press power-switch has a removable paddle, without which it
cannot be turned on. I can remove it for the duration of the party.

It would be nice to have some off-limits area for random noisebridge
tools/stuff that we can't secure any other way...yet the overall space
is pretty limited and it'll probably get crowded...so here's an idea:

There's still some amount of space in the closet of the fishtank. We
could stash any tools & whatnot in there (will the rolling metro-rack
fit? put stuff on that & roll it in?), and barricade the opening to
that closet in such a way that someone would have to make a concerted
effort to get at the stuff. Any number of NB folks would easily be
able to notice & prevent that from happening. I'm willing to help out
with implementing this should it be something we choose to pursue.

This way, any delicate devices could be protected, and we'd gain more
counter space & shelve space & floor space overall. It would probably
still be a good idea for anyone to take home their valuable personal
stuff. Not only from the standpoint of security, but also as a way of
freeing up that much more counter space & not requiring anyone to work
that into party prep logistics.
