Hey Crypto Night folks,

Nice to meet y'all today! I have a feeling that these gatherings are going
to be a lot of fun once they get going . . .

I will be presenting a little information on historical crypto systems (i.e.
pre 20th century) next Friday (4/17 6pm). We'll probably spend just a few
minutes going over the different cyphers and then spend most of the time
trying to crack some real cryptexts, first by hand and then using some
python/ruby/whatever scripts to do some of the more difficult ones.

If we have time I might also present two neat modular arithmetic proofs:
 * Turing's Bicycle (mentioned but mostly forgotten today ;)
 * Why it's impossible to perfectly tune a musical instrument

If there's something else you'd rather cover, let me know.

-Joey
