[Noisebridge-discuss] Scala language

+1 I've been considering Scala (& Lift) for a project that's been
lurking in the back of my head.

We can build the noisebridge web 2.0 social app with realtime member
polling via sms and  iphone/android apps. (j/k (kinda))

I don't think Scala is the end-all-be-all that the folks at Twitter
and other web 2.0 devs make it out to
be any more than Ruby (or PHP,etc) is. (Disclaimer: I could
technically be considered a web 2.0 dev)
