I agree wholehartedly is that finding parts in the standard part libraries 
is one of the less pleasant things to do.

I really like the sparkfun parts library, which is referenced in the 
sparkfun tutorial.  Their keyboard shortcuts look really useful too since 
I find all the mousework (or trackpadwork) really tedious, but I haven't 
loaded them up and learned them yet.

But yeah, Eagle really sucks.  Unfortunately from what I've heard 
everything else sucks more. :)
