[Noisebridge-discuss] Meeting notes 18 Aug [humour]

What the Flaming Lotus Girls do every year because our costs exceed our bank
account is ask people to hold off on receipts or others to put things on
low- or no-interest credit cards until such a time as we can hold a
fundraiser and get the money together.

However, the FLG has a lot better chance of making the money back at a
fundraiser than we do. We have a huge fan base who likes to come out and
make donations. We're also not afraid to make money from alcohol sales,
which is the bulk of the income for these things. (As a reference, we
netted about $3K after all expenses from that last $0 entry fund raiser that
many of you attended.)

Of course, we could also go for a traditional bank loan to get all this
done. That would indeed be safest.
