While I agree that if we kept every statue and symbol that became
interesting to a few people in the space we'd wind up filling our space up
with "knick knacks" instead of the cool stuff that is what we're about.
However, this is something I think is exceptional and worth keeping, as long
as we occupy this space.  (And leave it with the space if/when we move on to
something even more humongous.)  To me it symbolizes the weirdness that
surrounds the place and our issues with it.  And we all could use a little
homage to weirdness.  It's certainly better than rats.
