Hence signaltunnel (the google group I set up expressly for nothing but
project discussions).  I was talking about it with friends recently, sad
that it had basically zero traffic.  They had a great point: "Wait, so you
set up a mailing list that's -discuss without the drama, and then were
surprised when it got no traffic?  Really?"

I'm hoping the spacebridge folks have a good project report coming up soon!
