Actually I think this is a good idea and will fund it with my own $100
unless anyone actually Objects. (Object soon if you wish to.)

300 Noisebridge buttons for The Future.

Hey y'all,

Most of you know me, and know the snarky buttons I make. I've been
selling them and giving them away for quite a while now (and many of
you can attest that I've given away way more than I've sold) Well,
the business is taking off, and it's time we got a real button
machine, so we've been working on this plan for the past week or so
(this is why I haven't been able to respond to some of your emails as
quickly as I would have liked to recently). Anyway, please do me a
favor and give it a read.

I'm also asking everyone to do me another favor, and whether or not
you yourself choose to invest, please pass this on to anyone you
think might be interested - anyone who likes the buttons, or who
maybe needs to have some buttons made (the 300 button deal may be
less than what our normal bulk price will eventually be)

We are also actively working on a new online store that should be
ready to go live this month...stay tuned!

Many thanks!!!

ps - remember we are still only doing 1.25" for the time being...that
will change as soon as we are able...we'll add 1" next and then 1.5"
after that.

The Snarky McFuckbuttons Factory Improvement Campaign

So what's this whole thing about? The popularity of our buttons has
really taken off over the past couple of years, and it is time for us
to take the next step and get an motorized button maker. This will
allow us to not only be able to fill your orders more quickly, but
will also allow us to finally accept large bulk orders that up until
now we've had to refer to other companies. It will also allow us to
give away even more buttons to even more fund raisers for good
causes. Only trouble is the machine is pretty expensive. In order
to help us get it we've put together a pretty simple and
straightforward investment idea that we're sure everyone will love.

We are asking for $100 from each supporter, limited to the first
70. We will collect the money over the month of February, 2009, and
once we have reached the target of $7,000 we will get the button
machine. What's in it for you? In return for your $100 we will give
you 100 snarky buttons of your choice (a $150 value), or a bulk order
of 300 buttons of one design (that's 33 cents each!!), plus you'll
get a 10% discount on all your orders for the coming year. We will
fill the orders during March, 2009, in the order that people signed up.

What happens if we don't get enough money by February 28th? From the
incredible initial interest we doubt we won't reach our goal, but in
case we don't, your money will be returned (minus fees if you use
PayPal) and for your trouble we will give you 15 buttons - that's a
$22.50 retail value.

Don't have $100? Become an aggregator! What's that, you ask? You
pull together a few other people, and collect $100. You and 4
others, $20 each...you and 9 others, $10 each...you get the
idea. Why do it this way? Well, we want to be sure that we can
fulfill all investors' orders in a timely fashion, so we need to keep
the total numbers of people manageable. Each of your group can send
the money separately, but they need to list you as the main
contact. You, the main contact, will collect their button choices to
send to us, and we'll deliver the buttons to you so you can
distribute them to your group.

So what next? Email me at ctp at ctpdesign.com to ask any questions, or
to figure out other ways to get the money to us. Or just PayPal your
support (as "Service/Other") to the account attached to my email address.

Huge thanks in advance,
CTP
