[Noisebridge-discuss] Anyone interested in a Python & JavaScript open source project?

For anyone who wants to gain some practice with Python programming (and
the wxPython gui toolkit), I have ideas for two fairly straight forward
projects.

The first is an open source HTML image map creator. This category seems
to be dominated by the not-free Coffeecup Image Mapper, and no
comparable open source versions exist (email me if you know of any)

The second is a "virtual tour" creator and viewer for the web. Using
JavaScript and client-side image maps, the user can explore a series of
pictures (think the original Myst game). The back-end would be a desktop
app that can easily create these tours.

Email me if you're interested. I think this would be a good learning
project.
