Friends,

As the individual who has started a couple of the recent threads that  
have overstayed their welcome, I would like to extend an apology to  
the list and ask your forgiveness.

My intentions were never malicious and I only sought to bring up  
issues I felt were important to the group. When the group from  
Billings Middle School showed up I let the group know about it because  
I thought that a) they were awesome and wanted to make aware that our  
name is getting out into areas where you would least expect and b) to  
let people know that other large groups were very likely to be coming  
through unannounced, especially kids. There was no way I could have  
ever known it would ever become the shitstorm that it ended up being  
with over 80 messages of incessant babbling. For this I apologise.

And now I was the one that posted the message about the tiny amount of  
mercury to let people know about it and what steps we were taking to  
rid ourselves of it. It has gone to the point of absolute absurdity,  
talking about renting mercury analysers and considering calling a  
hazmat team. Again, my intentions were not to cause a paranoid  
shitstorm but only to make people aware of a possible safety hazard  
that was already dealt with by the time the message was sent.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness for this topic that has well  
outlived it's welcome as well as the one before. If you ever happen to  
see me posting a supposedly benign topic that could turn into another  
long drawn out thread, please stop me. I'm easily distracted with ice  
cream and/or porn.
