[Noisebridge-discuss] why is a new 24/7 space needed if classes generally occur in evenings?

just a thought that dawned on me, so plz correct me if im wrong.

seems like the *problem*(?) is that 83c has become a classroom when folks
are able to go there, so folks want new space. but if classes are generally
in evening, why not negotiate with another space to *host* noisebridge for
certain hours in evenings specifically for noisebridge classes. this would
be alot cheaper, plus then things like noisebridge fundraiser parties could
also be used to help its lil offspring in the east bay thats wanting to get
a lil ol space of their own?

admittedly, there is self interest speaking here as well, as i almost never
make it to the city, and want an east bay space/community, so things like
throwing a party i would be more into if they were to help the hackeastbay
space. this was part of my motivation for the godspeed you black cat (gyb_c)
hacker parties.

but i think the question is worth asking. think about all the spaces in the
mission, for example, that don't use their space after 5pm. they would
definitely at least be interested in getting some $$ to rent their space for
classes in the evening.
