We can certainly afford the money at this point, especially assuming that we'll make the money back from sales.

 

 

Up till now we have not spent any Noisebridge money on anything but petty-cash levels of expenses (such as fire extinguishers).  If we make this Mate purchase a consensus item, it will be our first consensus item for a reasonably large expense.  How about if people pipe in with some comments on whether you think Jake should add this to Tuesday's agenda for discussion (for possible consensus the following Tuesday)?
