It's quite a bit easier to silicone-mold the broken part and cast a new
one in epoxy than to build a 3D model and print it. I'd love to see
this capability explored at Noisebridge. The "Guerilla Guide to CNC"
has a section on silicone molding and epoxy casting; see section 7 of
