[Noisebridge-discuss] IR Blocking filter material?

Hi,
I'm looking to obtain a small disc of Infrared-blocking material to put in a
little video camera. I've heard that my camera's lack of such a filter could
be the cause of the picture looking washed-out in sun light.

Supposedly I can salvage one out of a broken photographic camera if someone
has?
