[Noisebridge-discuss] Laser cutter from China?

I've browsed at the SEG electronics market in Shenzhen a few times, but
never came across a whole laser cutter setup.
Do you have any contacts locally who can help source it? last resort search
http://www.alibaba.com ... there are several vendors listed. As far as
specs, maybe draw a comparison to the Epilog 45 watt unit?

Whatever you get, make sure you have the actual unit you buy demonstrated to
work in front of you... which brings me to wonder how you'll lug that cross
the SZ/HK immigration checkpoint? You have access to a private car+driver
with dual licenses (or know how to hire one)?

It'd be awesome if you really did make it back with a functional laser
cutter!
