Oh man am I not the right person per se to lead this discussion.  What is
going on is synthetic biology.  We are using cells as computers to do novel
important things.  The only marked hazardous thing is like sodium chloride.
 The rest is safe.

P.S.

The experiment preparation we did this weekend did not involve
that hazardous material anyway.  We are following strict safety guidelines
as well.  Once again I am your humble servant.
