I would strongly encourage all members to do what they feel is right.
Don't antagonise the police simply because others wish you to.  Don't let
others discourage you from calling the police as you feel is needed, or
simply denying them entry because others don't want them.

Simply close the door, please. It's absolutely within your right to
close the door behind you when you step outside to talk to them. You can
both refuse entry and not enable them to enter the space. If they're
going to take it to the next level, please let them do it entirely on
their own accord.
