That's not much of a hack at all!  Here's one more in the spirit of
noisebridge:

   1. Get a toaster
   2. Remove the cover of the toaster
   3. Place the toaster's guts in something suitably waterproof, say a
   ziplock bag.
   4. Start a new project

(I have futher kibitzing and fun ideas, but no time to deliver, sadly.  Have
an awesome robotmas!)
