   shelves are needed in various locations for various
needs:
* dead tree library (under western windows and against
  the southern wall west of the west-most column (near
  the two vertical black pipes)--seems like the library
  bunch has time and energy to get started on this.
* member shelves
* hackable stuff shelves
* shareable stuff shelves
* "kitchen", dirty workshop, classrooms, photo darkroom,
  electronics....

* storage room: i have some plywood and other lumber and
plan to put storage racks and shelves in there for
electrical supplies, light bulbs and fixtures, any other
construction stuff (metal shelving, paint, cleaning...).

   it'll help to talk out the materials and construction
techniques for the various shelves so's to cull the best
ideas before starting:
* library bunch is leaning toward custom plywood shelves
  so's to get a best fit.
* hackable and shareable stuff might present weight
  problems.
* other...?

   there are issues of cost and availability: maybe for
some purposes buy cheap shelves from local retailers;
maybe we can research and scrounge donations of shelving
systems; maybe custom building with wood is best. how
to pay for them?
* the library bunch so far has got $80 in pledges for
supplies and plans to do the work ourselves. anybody else
willing to pledge a little money for dead tree library
shelves?
* what does the noisebridge budget allow for shelves?
