Probably a bit impractical and ineffective- most of the food waste is still
stuff brought in from outside, chinese, pizza, burritos, etc. Banning food
from the space will go over like a lead balloon I suspect.
I think one problem with either prepped or saved food is actually knowing
when it's ok to throw it out. Like the big pot of rice: I personally
thought that's old, I'll throw it out. Huh. Maybe someone would get mad at
me. Suddenly I feel it's not my problem. Can we do something like if you
know it's a day old, and not marked "save" or secured from rats, it's
tossable?
