   I brought in two five-gallon paint buckets and one 
30 (or so) gallon trash can on which i've scrawled 
"Cans and Bottles" as well as "No Garbage". 

   the idea is to put any cups, cans, or bottles that 
are sitting around with liquids in them into the 
five-gallon paint buckets. 
   When the five-gallon buckets seem to be full, 
transfer the cans and bottles to the 30 gallon trash 
pouring their contents into the bottom of the 
five-gallon buckets; put paper cups in the blue 
recycling container (after pouring their contents into 
the five-gallon buckets), put styrofoam cups in the 
black garbage can.... 
   Pour the liquid remaining in the five-gallon buckets 
down a sink or toilet, rinse, return to the main area.
