The plan.
Custom tile counter top with a clear acrylic resin overlay instead of grout.
I'd like to inset this with light tubes attached to programable LEDs.

For the stove I'd like to get a 4 burner induction cook top (
http://bit.ly/e1DSD). There are 3 main reasons for going with induction.
First, It's more efficient, so cheaper to use. Second, induction stoves
respond like gas stoves giving you greater control over what you're cooking
than a standard electric stove top. Third, to start a fire with an induction
cook top you would have to be actively trying. The cook top only heats
things that are ferrous, so you can't light a piece of paper on fire with
this stove.

Among the cabinets that I picked up there was a double oven cabinet. I'd
like to be able to put a double oven in it.

As of right now here's a list of what we still need, and roughly what it
will cost. If you have some of these things, or have money to make them
appear the kitchen will get built faster.

Tile about 150 sqft. costs between $100 and $200
Tile adhesive, and resin about $150
Stove-this depends on how fancy people want to go. We can do individual
induction burners for about $100 each. We can get an induction 4 burner cook
top for about $1000. We can get a cook top/oven combo unit for around $2000.
A double oven can be had for around $500

Thanks,
Zedd
