Yeah. Calendar = awesome.

Ani, good call on putting events on the calendar. Maker faire, burning
man, noisebridge anniversary, etc.

A people-based calendar sounds great, but I like Jim's idea of hacks.
Perhaps it should be "people demonstrating something".

Eg: close-up of fingers twiddling knobs on a diy synthesizer with a
soft-focus grin in the background

Each month would have a person, showing off something they created. A
brief description would talk about both subjects and provide a url
(noisebridge/wiki/February or something) which has links for more
info. In some cases, a person alone would be sufficient, but I think
we'd still want some blurb about stuff they do, and where to get more
info.

The calendar will be inspiring.

Hackers would put them in their spaces. Kids would put them in their
rooms. Science teachers would put them on their walls.

Well that's my idea. Any other ideas?
