This sounds like the best course of action.  I realize we're a very much "do
it yourself" crowd, especially when it comes to thinking things, but it
strikes me that, like the Automatic Electronic Defibrillator, this might be
one of those things that we probably should leave to the experts for now.
Especially since there are experts attached to the machine.

I look forward to hearing what they have to say.

Out of curiosity Jon, with the restriction you were working under, was the
onus on _you_ or the foreign nationals that they not be exposed.  I vaguely
recall there being penalties for the person who controls the questionable
device for allowing it to fall into foreign hands.  Now I have this
suspicion that Jake would just adore being a test case for challenging ITAR,
but I'm curious as to how that would work.
