[Noisebridge-discuss] Want to house a laser cutter?

Laser cutters ( for acrylic and wood ) are fully enclosed in a housing
with a polycarbonate cover on top. They will not operate with the
covers open, and the polycarbonate stops the infrared radiation (it's
a CO2 laser) from shining out. If you would like to learn how to use
a laser cutter, there are classes at TechShop in menlo park. Check
their website (www.techshop.ws) for the materials+instruction cost for
the class.
