i'm not close right now, but w/ a small # of pins just
heating/braiding/wiggling the joint (rather than hot air) will work ok
(w/o affecting other bits on the board). this works well since the part
coming off is already screwed up :-)

a tiny dab of liquid flux on the new part will make the joint cleaner as
well, but i'm ot sure i saw any at the space (either).
