That's a shame you're going to be away - Rain Ashford said to say
hello :o) Thanks for the welcome and I think I will head down on
Monday. I've done plenty soldering, but never tried SMD - save for
suspiciously poking SMD components with an iron when salvaging non-SMD
parts from boards. It's be great to learn how to work with them.

I'm sure I will. I might try and drop by this afternoon too. Tomorrow
I'm planning to go to the Yuri's Night event. Will there be a
Noisebridge stand there? It'd be good to find some fellow geeks to
hang out with.
