[Noisebridge-discuss] Need info on upgrading a WiFi antenna for a robot - how does it connect?

Telling the transmitter to yell louder doesn't help packets get into
the robot, it just creates interference for other receivers.

I donated a pair of the Hawking adapters to the space a long time ago,
don't know what their status is now. Like any amplifier they can't
help on the receive side, since adding power to the signal from the
antenna raises everything including the thermal noise floor.
