   thanks much, kelly. 
   i'll carefully remove the photos and do some good 
thing with them (put them in a safe place or put them 
up on some other wall that has photos or whatever you 
or others suggest). 
   i'll leave the plumbers tape in place, and after 
the photos are moved, before the shelves are started, 
i'll take a picture of the shape of the tape and send 
it to you (and anyone else who wants it).
